It is certainly unlucky for anyone to be stolen from. However, President Roosevelt had three reasons to be grateful. This story tells us we should learn to be grateful in our life. There is a sentence from Mahatma Gandhi:“Live as you were to die tomorrow, learn as you were to live forever. ” Great people are always showing their love to the world, just as Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Norman Bethune and so on. How about us?
You can not do everything, but still you can do something. So, be grateful to your life, all the people and things in your life.
Be grateful to the nature, for the fresh air you breathe, the clean water you drink, the beautiful flower you smell.
Be grateful to your parents, for they gave birth to you and taught you right from wrong.
Be grateful to your teachers, for they let you understand “what”,“how”and“why” with great patience.
Be grateful to your friends, for you have known each other since you were 9 or 10 and faced the difficulties together for so many years.
Mother Teresa once said:“People really need help, but may attack you if you help them. Help people anyway; Give the world the best you have and you may get kicked in the teeth. Give the world the best you have anyway.” At last I want to say: being grateful can bring us a better and more beautiful life. Why don’t we have a try?let,s get it started! Be grateful to your lover, for he/she gave you love and helped you find the sun every time you were down.
Good morning, ladies and gentlemen:
The title of my speech today is “Keep on dancing on your stage—Kunshan”. Several years ago, my parents took me to Zhouzhuang and Jinxi for a travel. Just at the first glance of the scenery, I was deeply fascinated by the dreamy water village. I like the historic old buildings and old bridges, I like the gurgling water flow along the winding river, I like the delicious local special snacks. Especially, I enjoying the peaceful feeling when I sitting in the floating boat. In one word, I really like the unique city very much.
After my graduation in 2016, I found my first job in Kunshan city, and worked as a Mechanical designer. I can never forget the day when I entered our corporation, my bomade a face to face talk with me. “Kunshan city like a large stage”, he said, “it can provide abundant oppertunities for all of us. If you want to be an excellent dancer on this stage, you need to keep on dancing and never give up”. I was deeply inspired by what he said and determined to contribute the rest of my life on the development of our company and Kunshan city.
How time flies. Two years passed, I saw enormous changes in Kunshan. New buildings, new commodities and new fashions appear everyday. New ideas, new technologies and new policies change the city every time. Innovation,
industrialization and information are getting more emphasis, and more people are rewarded for their hard work and efforts. Today, Kunshan has been ranked on the top of the top hundred counties in China. Such is the glory of Kunshan stage.
As for me, frankly speaking, at first, I had some difficulty to do my work well. I cann’t finish my work in time and always make mistakes. Under the huge working pressure, even my sleeping and eating is difficult to be peaceful. However, I didn’t give up. Through my continuous efforts, and thanks to my colleagues, my group and my friends in Kunshan, I made a remarkable progress, and I gradually became to be a positive, efficient and pleasant person. Now, I’m not only a professional Mechanical Engineer, but also a reliable secretary to GMO in our company.
Besides, I realize that only those who bring happinefor others can be truly happy. So I often take part in activities to enhance the cohesion of our staffs. Lots of precious experience made me aware of the responsibility on our shoulders, and made me full of energies and confidence.
Rome was not built in a day. As one of the dancers on kunshan stage, I want to say “thank you kunshan for giving me the stage to show myself. And I believe that, as long as I keep on dancing on your stage, I can create more and more miracles in the futre. ”

Leo Tolstoy once said, everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself.
He is right. We always have great plans and dreams in our minds… too ready to achieve something grand that changes the world or benefits all of mankind .For example; we hate pollution and have made up our minds to find new energy sources that keep the environment clean. Yet we still litter on the ground. We complain about traffic jams, so we plan to build more highways to solve the problem, but it never occurs to us that our failure to follow traffic regulations is the leading cause of this situation. We are so concerned that the violence in the media has a bad impact on our children, we urge the government to set laws to protect them. But, do we, as adults, set a good example for our kids? We use nasty words and even spit on the ground in front of them, I dare to say, we harm more!
In my opinion, before we decide to change the world, we had better change ourselves first. As ordinary individuals, we do not have the power to change the world. But we can change our habit of littering, spitting, cussing, we can respect the environment around us, we must act as good models for our kids.
If each of us does all of these little things, all of us, millions and millions of individuals together, together we will be strong …strong enough to change our world!
So please, the next time you do something, think how your actions influence.
